Approximately 55% of the firm's revenues derive from business clients. Around 10% of the remainder comes from organisations and associations, 10% from the public sector and the remaining 25% from private clients.
Our corporate clients are drawn from a variety of sectors and industries, and we are frequently retained by the country’s largest companies to represent their interests both in and out of court.
In contrast to other major commercial law firms, Hjort also takes a large number of cases on behalf of private individuals. In many of these cases, the government covers some of the client’s expenses. Hjort's philosophy is that the firm should provide legal representation to the individual, regardless of his or her job or situation.
