Vegard Eikeland Vaboen advises in matters related to real estate law. Vegard has specialized expertise in planning and building law and other public regulations of property. He also has extensive experience in property development, housing law, property rights, and landlord-tenant law. Vegard also has dispute resolution experience within these practice areas.

Vegard has prior professional experience from the Parliamentary Ombud for Scrutiny of the Public Administration with planning and building law, as well as other specialized administrative laws concerning property and the environment. He additionally has worked with public access to information and general administrative law.

When Vegard was a research assistant Nordic Institute for Maritime Law at the University of Oslo, he wrote his master’s thesis on municipalities’ implementation of regulatory plans with expropriation pursuant to § 16-2 first paragraph in the Planning and Construction Act.
