Legal Advisor
Simen Sletten works in our energy law practice area and assists clients with legal issues within the energy sector. His work includes regulatory matters, contract law and dispute resolution within renewable energy and other energy-related activities. Through his studies, he has acquired broad legal expertise, with a particular interest in procedural law and public law regulations.
Simen wrote his master’s thesis on the police’s duty to inform suspects about the right to remain silent and the right to defense counsel before questioning, where he analyzed the scope of the duty to inform and its importance with regards to evidence in criminal cases. He has previous experience as a legal advisor at Ila Prison and Detention Center, where he worked with issues related to the execution of sentences and inmates’ rights. Simen has also been a working group leader at the Faculty of Law in Bergen, where he advised law students in their first year of study.
