Managing Associate
Ida Synnøve Solheim specializes in dispute resolution, litigation, and legal advisory services across a broad spectrum of private law matters. She has particular expertise in financial settlements between spouses and cohabitants, valuation and division of business assets, probate and inheritance matters, as well as guardianship cases. Ida also assists clients in international family and inheritance law cases.
Ida regularly represents clients before the District Court and the Court of Appeal, and possesses specialized competence in civil procedure. She also provides assistance with estate planning, including the drafting of wills, enduring powers of attorney, prenuptial agreements, and cohabitation agreements.
Ida has served as a Deputy Judge at Asker and Bærum District Court. She has also been an external examiner at Nord University and frequently undertakes assignments as a lecturer. Ida holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Bergen, where she wrote her thesis on compensation for wrongful prosecution. In addition, she has studied psychology, philosophy, and political theory.
