Managing Associate
Ida Synnøve Solheim provides advice and dispute resolution within a wide range of family and inheritance law issues. She has expertise in probate law, including estates and joint properties, inheritance settlement and financial settlement between cohabitants. Solheim also assists with inheritance planning and creation of wills, future authorizations, marriage agreements and cohabitation agreements.
Ida Synnøve has expertise in child law and assists clients in matters of permanent residence, visitation rights and parental responsibility. She has experience with child custody, child support, guardianship and child welfare and can assist in negotiations, pertaining to the establishment of visitation rights agreements and in legal processes.
Previously, Ida Synnøve has worked as a voluntary caseworker at Gatejuristen, where she assisted with free legal aid for people with substance abuse. Solheim studied at the University of Bergen and wrote her master’s thesis on compensation for wrongful prosecution. She has previously studied psychology, philosophy and political theory.
