Emilie works mainly with advice and litigation assignments within family and inheritance law, and specializes in family law and children’s law.

She wrote her master’s thesis on spousal support, entitled “Is the support rule in section 79, second paragraph of the Norwegian Civil Code suitable for ensuring reasonable settlements today?”. The thesis analyzed the specific content of the maintenance rule and the derived rule’s effect in society, as well as providing a legal policy assessment of the suitability of the maintenance rule today.
