Emilie Hulthin

Senior Associate

Emilie Hulthin works in our enterprise penalties practice area, primarily with litigation matters. Emilie has extensive litigation experience from principal economic criminal cases and civil disputes.

Emilie has served as a defense counsel in several major cases involving economic crime. She represents both private clients and enterprises, often handling cases that involve both criminal and civil legal issues. She also assists with advice and dispute resolution in civil cases, including matters related to compensation and negligent investment advice. Additionally, Emilie has experience as a legal counsel and probono lawyer, assisting in all types of criminal cases. Emilie was recognized in Finansavisen’s annual lawyer review in 2024 as one of the five promising talents in economic criminal cases.

Emilie has previously worked in the Ministry of Justice and Public Security and has been a committee secretary for the government-appointed Intimate Partner Homicide Committee, which delivered its Official Norwegian Report (NOU) in December 2020. Her experience with investigative work is particularly relevant in connection with investigative assignments.

Her experience also includes case work at the free legal aid clinic for women, JURK, which provides free legal counselling for women in Norway. Her case spectrum at JURK included assisting women with matters such as domestic violence, imprisonment, debt, and money claims.
