Senior Associate
Anny Bjornes works as a Senior Associate in our employment law practice area. She assists both Norwegian and international employers and employees with advice, investigations, negotiations, and dispute resolution related to employment law matters. Anny has experience in drafting employment contracts, terminations, restructuring and downsizing processes, personnel follow-up, including sick leave, and advice related to working time arrangements.
Anny also has experience with whistleblowing cases and investigations. These investigations have included matters such as breaches of the Working Environment Act’s requirements for a safe working environment, various forms of harassment, breaches of confidentiality, and violations of employees’ individual rights. Additionally, she has experience with M&A and corporate law, assisting with acquisitions, transactions, and general corporate and contract law issues for both Norwegian and international clients.
Anny wrote her master’s thesis in employment law about the rights of employees in the event of a transfer of ownership of undertakings. During her studies, she also worked at the Legal Aid Clinic (Jussformidlingen), focusing on legal policy work and serving as a caseworker in employment law, social security law, immigration law, tenancy law, and contract law.
