Cathinka Glad Rangnes works in our family, inheritance, and probate law practice area, providing advice and litigation services in family and inheritance law matters. Cathinka has expertise in financial settlements between spouses and cohabitants, inheritance settlements, and parental disputes. She also assists with wills, marital agreements, cohabitation agreements, and powers of attorney for future needs.

Before joining Hjort, Cathinka worked at HELP Advokatfirma AS. At HELP, she handled a significant number of cases for the courts within the areas of inheritance, family, and child law. She has also been employed as a lawyer and team leader at Barnasjurist, a subdivision of Gatejuristen . While at Barnasjurist she worked with legal policy work and case processing within, among other things, labor law, social security law, immigration law, tenancy law, child law, and education law. She was also responsible for mentoring and the quality assurance of case work by volunteer law students.
